Default Spring Recovery

I dont know about where anyone else lives, but in my area there is going to be alot of work needed on the exterior of homes all over the place.

The snow and ice has caused alot of damage around here. Porch rooves have collapsed under the weight of it all, I have even seen a few dog houses that have been ruined because of it.

Also there is alot of damage to exterior lighting fixtures because of the snow melting and refreezing time and again. The glass of these fixtures have cracked and will now need to be replaced.

Come spring time there are going to be alot of people fixing alot of things outside or completely replacing them because of the damage caused by old man winter this year.

I am thankful that it appears that the exterior of our home has held up rather nicely though all of this, though sadfully several friends are going to need help getting their homes back in order.

I guess when I am finished doing what we want here, we will have our work cut out for us helping others get things straightened back out.

It has been a tough winter all over the country this year, and world for that matter. I know this has been one of the worse one we have had here in the Carolinas in a longggg time.

I sure hope that this means hurricane season will be bad this year too.

I have been tending my plants that I have inside and getting them rready for some warm spring sun. Ther sure need it.

I know what ya mean, hurricane season has been catastrophic but lets hope that its not.

Though I guess we will all find out how mother nature wants to treat us eventually.

The weather here has been really cold this winter, there is alot to do this year here to.The five inches of snoe that we got and we never get snow here.Took it's toll on our trees and older buildings. It has been a wet winter here as well,we have lots of exterior mildew on the outside of our home.

We have an old barn out back and parts of it caved from the wieght of the snow.Though we were planning to tear it down this summer anyways.

We will pressure wash the exterior with bleach and we will build a new barn as soon os our finances and weather will allow.
