Default Patio Furniture

Well it sure feels like spring today, the temp is warm the sun is bright and beautiful.

Because of this wonderful weather we got out our patio furniture and were going to put it back out where it belongs but that isnt going to happen.

Apparently we had a minor leak in our garage and its pretty much ruined. So this is going to be the year that we purchase a new set. Granted the old set is still usable but would need some sanding and a new coat of paint, so we are going to give it to a relative, because they have the space for it and could really use it.

I have been wanting a new set for a while now, the old one isnt all that comfortable anyway.

Plus I want a set that is going compliment the exterior of the house as well as be something that we can sit at and enjoy in the evenings.

I have the same problem. Only mine didnt get wet. the squirrels got into it and destroyed it. all the stuffing is in the trees in thier nest..LOL

I will have to get something not padded or something that will keep the squirrels off it. They really did a number on it..LOL

I try and get the most durable patio furniture that I can get.I also every year take and spray paint my furniture to keep off any rust or discoloration that it gets from setting out all year.

I make sure that I get a big umbrella on it as well to keep out the direct sunlight from whom ever is sitting at the table. It also helps to keep it cooler at the table. If I get padding I make sure that it is very washable and tough.

I also get some plants to go around my patio set and make sure that they are very green and colorful.I like spider plants and daisies, you can get them in all kinds of colors and they are very easy to keep alive.

I have a really nice patio set that I need to get scrubbed up and ready for use. It spent the winter out on the front porch so you can imagine all of the grime that it accumulated. I am looking forward to spending many hours sitting on my patio in the sunshine with a glass of tea and a good book! Ya, I'm dreaming lol!

Eyeofngt maybe what you need to do is remove the padding from your patio furniture and store it in a plastic container that the squirrels aren't able to get to.

That way you wont have to worry about this type of thing happening again. Though I am sure that those squirrels are extremely happy that they were able to get some good materials to make their nests nice, cozy and warm through the winter months,LOL.
