Default Increase Your Curb Appeal For Summer

When decorating for summer, the outside of your home can be just as important as the inside, it is the first part anyone sees.

Walk out to the sidewalk and take a look at your house from the street is it fresh and welcoming or dull and boring ?

The fastest way to brighten up the outside of your home is to paint the front door in a crisp new color. If you want to take on a bigger project, now is a great time to paint siding and trim also.

Landscaping plays a large part in getting your home summer ready. Clean up the debris left over from winter and, plant a garden full of brightly colored flowers, place a planter full of greenery or flowers on each side of the front door. Add window boxes for splashes of color that draw the eye up as well.

You can also put in small water features and add them into the flower beds, this is becoming very popular where I live.People say that it is not only pretty to look at,but it sounds so peaceful and soothing as well.

You can also add pretty easily a few gold fish to your water feature or Japanese Koy,these are a little more expensive to keep though.

My mother has had a big pond in her yard and her Japanese Koy has been in her yard for a few years now,and when you go feed her fish or just walk out to the pond the fish come up and let you pet them.they are very loving and friendly, she now raises and sells the babies,so she makes a few bucks off of her hobby.

Curb appeal is extremely important. Its what draws a person to the home and can actually make them want to go inside to see what it is like in there and if as much care is taken on the inside of the home as is taken on the outside.

Clean siding, and areas of real interest can be the most appealing and I believe you ladies have covered all of the needed areas of Curb Appeal. And, painting the front door is a very important eye catcher, but if the door is not up to par, it is better to replace it. After all, its the very first thing you see when entering the home.

I just talked the other day about these solar lights that I bought for outside. Not only are they functional but they are decorative as well. They are really cute. They hang from shepard's hooks that are about two feet tall.

Well now I just saw other ones at the store today that I really like. They are the normal ones that have a stake you push into the ground. The difference is they are different colors. They come in a four pack and the colors are blue, green, red and yellow. They are so cute! I think I am going to get a set on a payday.

I also saw some really cute decorative plastic fencing to put around small bushes and plants. They have butterflies on them and the plastic is very flexible so you can shape the to whatever shape you need. I think thats a cool idea because most flower beds aren't shaped perfectly. As a matter of fact I tend to make my beds kind of wavy. They look really pretty and different that way.

Curb appeal is what buyers see first. It's the first impression so you have to make it a good one!
