Default Give your home curb appeal

A few ways to add curb appeal:

1. Change your light fixtures.

2.Paint the front door a bold color.

3. A new mailbox can make a big difference.

4.Putting nice planters with some colorful plants can add a lot of curb appeal.

5. Power wash your home for a clean look.

6.Add flowers, plants in the front of your home.

7.Keep grass cut, and leaves cleaned up.

8.Keep sidewalk in good shape, fix any cracks, or get rid of weeds growing in it.

The ideas that you listed are all great ways to add some curb appeal to your flip. I think walking around the property with a fresh eye is important to making your flip one that will appeal to prospective buyers.

Be sure to pay attention to the roof and gutters on your flip as these areas are sometimes neglected to the point that you can lose a prospective sale because of them. Make sure the gutters are cleaned out and are firmly attached to the house and repair any loose shingles so that a buyer doesn't think that the roof may be leaking.

Ask someone who hasn't seen the house to go with you on a little tour of the property, both inside and out and ask them to list anything that stands out as needing attention. Oftentimes I think we don't see all the problems that need to be fixed, simply because we are used to seeing it - it's nothing new to us anymore and we can neglect to realize that it is a problem. Someone else that hasn't seen those problems recognize them as such immediately.
