Default Get it early- construction material

I have to say that purchasing your construction materials in
the off season is just as smart as buying a grill in winter. You
can get things cheaper because people aren't buying as many.
I always look for damaged pieces of drywall or wood if I have
a small project to do. This way I can get a discount for the
unusable product. Contractors usually won't buy the stuff
because they have large areas to cover.

Default Construction material

This is very true, some of the discounts you can get are really worth the time to find the damaged materials. Some of the local lumber yards usually have a room for products like this or other things such as doors and windows that have been discontinued or are only one of a kind. And the savings there are very significant.

I build bird houses on posts, and the half sheets of plywood are just the thing for me so if a full sheet is damaged, thats just the ticket for savings on wood.

Any and every discount you can find these days are well worth looking for.
