Default Front Porch

I believe the front porch plays a big part in selling your home. When someone drives up to your house it is one of the first things that they will see.

You want to make your home stand out from the rest. There are many ways of making this happen.

You should think of the front porch like any other room inside your home. Pay close attention to colors, lighting, plants and even the emotional appeal.

If the front porch is nice it will add to the value of the house as a place to hang out. (Like another room).

Very true closer. I always look at trhe front porch of houses! I spend time on the front and back porch. I try to have a lot of color on both. It does make a difference.

I also believe that making sure it is in good repair is important. Replacing damaged boards and leveling the stairs can also make a huge difference in how people feel about the home in general.

I would also suggest adding a ramp. Handicap access is all important when it comes to selling a home today.
