Wink Exterior lifts to add curb appeal

The outside of a home is the first thing people notice whether they are visitors or possible future owners. In any case the exterior area of the home should be appealing and give a feeling of warmth as well as have eye catching beauty.
Here are some ideas you may want to consider doing to the home to add beauty, function, and a little spice.

1. Exterior lighting on both sides of the door adds security adds symmetry which is appealing to the eye.

2. If the exterior door is worn or damaged a beautiful custom door may be a good choice or if it is just worn but in good shape, a coat of paint will attract the eye of all those visiting. Also placing a wreath or swag to the door will also be attracting and appealing.

3. Landscape lighting is a very good idea. This will add security, safety, beauty to the exterior of the home.

4. Placing containers around the porch to create an instant garden adds beauty, and a wide variety of colors to the home. Window boxes are also a huge plus.

5. Yard art such as metal cutouts, sculptures, bird baths and wind chimes also add beauty, appeal to the home as well as warmth to the yard.

6. Stone veneers can be added to column footings and concrete foundations to give the home beauty and durability.

7. Shutters on the windows also give a home alot of appeal as they add security as well as function to control light and ventilation to the home.

These are just a few ideas which you may want to consider for your home.
