Default Curb Appeal, why worry about it

Alot of home owners who are attempting to sell their homes, tend to only look at the interior of the home.

They fix all that may be in need of repair, add a fresh coat of paint where its needed and clean every room from ceiling to floor.

Though one place that alot of home owners tend to forget about is the exterior appeal of their homes.

Granted it is important to take care of the interior of a home prior to selling it, but it is also just as important if not more important to take care of the outside as well.

No one really wants to even bother looking inside of a house if on the outside they are seeing things like a broken porch railing, broken window, shingles falling off the roof, flower beds full of weeds, thigh high grass and shrubs which have growns out of control.

Personally if I were looking to purchase a home and found one where the exterior hasnt been taken care of, that would tell me that the interior hasnt been well cared for either. I would continue on my search and not even bother with this one.

The exterior of the home is the first thing that all possibly buyers are going to see, and if they see its a mess or in need of alot of work, they are going to just move along.

So when selling your home make sure that your homes curb appeal is warm, neat, clean and inviting, as this will drastically help you in the sale of your home.

Curb appeal is SO important. Think about it, if you pull up to a house and the weeds are three feet high, shingles are falling off of the roof and the paint is peeling off the exterior walls, are you going to take a tour? Not me. I would think it is too much work and possibly polluted with rodents. Thats enough to keep me driving on by!
