Default Crowded Curb Appeal

One thing that I have been working on at my home is cleaning up the crowded curb appeal. What I mean by crowded curb appeal is, when you have a bunch of different decorations tucked into an area.

Like in my front yard when I moved in here there were concrete ducks and giraffe's, there were also stepping stones shaped like paw prints, stones with deer, bears dogs and a dragon fly. There were also figurines out there of dogs, frogs, snails, butterflies, bears, and gorillias.

This was just to much to have placed in a small front yard. Decorating like this makes the home look trashy in my opinion.

I went outside a few weeks ago and removed those decorations and now it looks 100% better. Next year there will actually be room in my front yard for flowers to grow,LOL.

My neighbor also has this habit of over decorating his yard. He recently asked me to help him get it cleaned up. I of course told him that he cant be around when I do this because I wont have him saying I want to keep this or that. Which is what he would do, and he agreed.

What I will do is take a couple of boxes over there while he is a work, and start removing most of his decorations. Then store the boxes in his garage, then he can sell these items at his yard sale next year.

It is never a good idea to over decorate an area. Whether it is inside the home or even outside the home. Try to keep things simple, and you will find that it looks amazing.
