Default Check out your exterior.

I believe that we should take the extra time to check out the
exterior of our homes on a yearly basis. We all clean up our yards
to prepare for winter.

Take a walk around your home and look for rotten boards and loose
shingles. I would also recommend trimming your trees. There is nothing
as destructive as a winter ice storm. No one wants those branches coming
through their windows.

If you have had a leaky basement this year make sure to tend to it right
away. The cracks that let in that water can spread and destroy your
foundation as the ice forms in them.

I hope that this information make your home a safe and happy one for
the winter to come.
