Default Bird baths and ponds.

I think some of the coolest yards I have ever seen contain one or both features.

These add character to any landscape. I am considering starting with a pond and then building around it.

I want to add some plants and walkways to my back yard but thought that having this in place first would give me somewhere to start.

I know my mom has a pond which I think is wonderful. It is small and perfect for her yard.

I want one a little bigger and am considering getting koi to put in it. Either way it is going to make a huge difference in my boring backyard.

I love my pond!!! I have koi in there that is over 2 and a half foot long. They come up and eat out your hand and let you pet them. If it is done right it really makes a back yard and is good for your pressure and so relaxing.

I think that having ponds or birdbaths in a yard really make it beautiful. Plus the sound of gently running water is just so inviting and relaxing.

I dont have room in my yard for a pond, but I do have a tall fountain that we use. The sound of the running water just makes it so peaceful and relaxing to sit outside and enjoy a good book or just to watch the day go by.

I agree I love bird baths, they look nice, and also help out the birds, not to forget them in the winter when they need water the most.
