The television shows can give you a lot of ideas of how to change your rooms for a completely new and different look. As can some of the magazines that are available. And changing a room doesnt have to cost you an arm and a leg to do either.

Where you shop does have a significant impact on your budget and actually, I prefer Kmart when it comes to buying what I want to make these changes.

Another way to change a bedroom, instead of buying new furniture is to paint your dressers and headboard. This can give the room a light and airy look if you paint dark furniture a lighter color.

I get most of my stuff from second hand stores and yard sales,I have found all kinds of stuff for really cheap prices at yard sales and thrift stores. The Salvation Army hasalot for cheap prices too.

When you shop at places like these you end up helping out people in your own community, and I promise you won't find a better deal in any store.Shopping online at pleaces like ebay and craigslist is also a place to find good deals.

You can really find unique and sometimes odd but interesting things at the places that I have listed.I got a Princess Leia doll still in the box at a yard sale for three bucks and sold it on craigslist for three hundred dollars. You never know what you might find and it is fun looking.

There are alot of ways you can get some great ideas for decorating your home. I was just at the library today and there are ALOT of books that have some great decorating ideas and everything can be made at home or have little costs.

You can walk down the street and get decorating ideas for the home, it all depends on what catches your eye and what appeals to you.

You just have to stop every now and then and take a look around and I am sure that pretty much anyone could come up with a few great ideas.

Here is a neat idea for cheap wall art that doesn't look cheap.

Buy frames from Family Dollar or Dollar Tree or somewhere. Buy calendars with pictures that you like and that will go with your space. Cut out the pictures and frame them. For a little over a buck each you have beautiful wall art!

My sister in law did that for her daughters room. She wanted horses so she used a calendar with horses and it turned out great.
