Default Throw blankets and rugs reused.

There are so many things that you can do with your old blankets and throw rugs.

Rolling up the old rugs and then securing them makes them good door draft stoppers.

The old blankets can be used to make funiture covers and in some cases table covers or playmats for children.

I hate to throw things away and always try to find new uses for them. I have used old sheets to make new tablecloths. I don't like to pay so much for new ones.

You can use your tin cans from soups ecetera for keeping your pens and pencils in on you desk. I keep my old jars for nuts and bolts or put tealight candles in them during power outages.

I use them for rags sometimes if they are worn. It's better than using a ton of paper towels and they are washable so I can reuse them until they are too worn.

My husband actually uses them too when he has to crawl under a vehicle to work on it.

I'd rather reuse as much as possible rather than waste, spend more money or hurt the Earth more.
