Spring Decorations

Since spring is thankfully right around the corner its time to break out those craft boxes and get to work creating some great new decorations for the house to celebrate.

I know that I am ready for spring to get here, I am already tired of seeing all this white cold stuff that is covering everything right now.

I am going out to purchase some new materials to cover the couch and chairs in the living room, and I am going to get some artifical flowers to help compliment the new covers.

I like artifical flowers because they are easy to take care of and I dont have to worry about watering them.

I am also going to be gathering up some cardboard and making some great new photo frames out of them.

I just take a piece of cardboard and cut out an area for the picture to be seen through, then glue another piece of cardboard onto the back and then cover the it all in a fabric or even wall paper to match the room is going to be going in. I then take a pop can tab and glue it onto the back so that the picture can be hung nicely.

This is a great project to do and kids love to take part in making their very own picture frames.
