I carry a spray bottle of soap and water with me for quick cleanups. Sometimes you can't just dust.

Patricia, I had 5 kids of my own, and 3 step kids, plus helped raise 12 others off and on, so I have had to have lots of shortcuts. Otherwise I would never had been able to find the kids amongst the mess.

One thing that really helps is to never leave a room empty handed, if there is something in that room that belongs somewhere else, take it with you and put it away on your way to where you are going. You will be surprised at how much this helps.
