Simple decor can be just as exciting as expensive things. You don't have to spend allot of money or allot of time decorating to make your home beautiful.
Have you ever walked into a room and just loved it or another and hated it.
I have and sometimes it is because of one missplaced or ill suited item.
I am in a room now that is simple and well decorated but it has two terrible paintings on the wall.
I think that you should never hang something that isn't pleasant to look at. I mean do you want to look at it everyday if not neither will anyone else. Not everyone one is into art deco.

I think most of the time that simple is much better. It is neater, cleaner and more elegant than when a room seems to be overfilled and cluttered. I like things to be more simple, always have.

i saw a fabulous idea on a home decortating channel on tv. They went to a paint and wallpaper store, and look through all the different wall papers, the woman picked one of the designs she really liked, bought just a foot or two of it, brought it home, picked a nice section of it out and cut a piece about the size of a 12 by 12 frame, and framed it in a nice frame and hung it...she made two of these, one for each side of her fireplace, and it was fantastic!! and cheap...great pictures and original, for hardly any money!

That is a great idea and just goes to show that it doesn't matter how much money you actually spend on things for the home as far as decor goes. It can be cheap and just as elegant and interesting as something you might have spent $200.00 on. Be creative and let your own tastes show through and you can't go wrong.
