Default Ribbons & Lace

I have to admit I am a sucker for lace and ribbons. I have a ton of the stuff and didn't really know what to do with it all. I was going to give it away but decided to see if I could come up with ways to use it.

I have taken some of the lace and trimmed out some throw pillows I had. I also placed lace around a couple of picture frames, bowls filled with potpourri and trimmed out some place mats as well.

Now as for the ribbon, I wove some together to make a nice mat for the coffee table, tied some around a couple of vases, put a beautiful bow on the front door wreath and that all used up quite a bit of the ribbons and lace that I had stashed away.

I no longer have enough to give away thats for sure. Another great thing about doing little things like this to every room in your home is that it changes the look of a room with out costing a bundle and with out actually making serious changes to the room.

Just think, you made all of those changes, essentially making your items look new without costing you a dime. Thats awesome.

Now you can place those items in your different rooms and it will make the rooms look fresher.

I sometimes simply take furniture (tables and so on) from one room and move them into another just to freshen up the spaces. It really does work. It makes the room look like it has been redone.
