Default Quick kitchen changes.

I get tired of seeing the same set up in my kitchen all the time, especially in the winter so I do a few simple changes about every 2 weeks just to break the tedium of having things the same all the time.

I have several sets of placemats in several colors and shades that I change out periodically and then also change the center piece.

I rearrange the the canisters etc that are on the countertops, have added plants and also move them around for a different look.

New throw rugs are an added plus when you want to make cheap and easy changes and will also bring more color to your kitchen which as I said, can be a real boost in the winter time.

Since the kitchen is the center of our home as to where we spend a significant amount of time, changing things to make it brighter can really help during the cold, drab winter months.

Another idea to change the look and feel of a room is to change out the pictures or what ever is on the walls. I like this because it can really change how a room will look and feel.

At home things are always on the move. It is not often that things stay the same way for more than a month or two. This keeps things interesting and helps keep the boredom at bay.

One thing that effects a bunch of people at this time of the year is the fact that they are stuck inside because of the cold snowy weather outside. So keeping things different inside is one way to help keep that feeling of being stuck and depressed away.

These tips are great for any and all rooms in the house. It all depends on which ones you want to change and which are used the most.
