Quick decorating tips
A great yet quite easy way to light up your pathways to your home, are as easy as collecting some cranberries, marbles,coffee beans, candy corn, shells or even jelly beans and a few mason jars. Of course dont forget the candles.
Place the candles into the mason jars and then simply add some one of the items you collected like candy corn for Halloween, and place a couple handfulls to the mason jar around your candle. Place them along side your paths to light the way. Epsom salts also work great to imitate sand or snow. Change and coordinate the colors to match any event.
Cutting into a gord and adding some flowers to create a case is also a great way to help you decorate quickly for any fall occasion.
Use some various shades of brown felt to create some nice leaf shaped place mats for your table.
Creating a wreath made from fall twigs and leaves, is yet another great way to decorate your door to help welcome in the guests.
Attach seating arrangement cards to dried wheat bundles, to add some extra flair.
Create some scented potpourri balls to any room of your home. This is done by using a hot glue gun to attach your favorite potpourri to a small 3 or 4 inch foam craft ball. These little beauties not only add a wonderful sent to your home but also add texture and color. They can be displayed in a bowl, glass candle holder or they can stand alone on any table.
