Default Painting with white

When painting a house a cheap color is white, use a good semi gloss for a fresh clean look. White can be boring, but it does make a room look real nice, and clean.

You can always add color with your window coverings, throw pillows, and the carpet you lay down, pictures you hang can be a great way to add color, and texture to a room.

This advice is great for renters, due to the fact most landlords paint the walls white, but we all want color in a room so add your colors with the above mentioned. Color can be found in almost anything, even add a vase of flowers, is a great way to boost a room.

Default Re: Painting with white

Great tips. And another plus for painting with white is that it does make rooms look larger than they really are.

I don't really care for white myself but thats only because I have messy kids who would never keep their hands off the walls lol. I'd be scrubbing walls and re-painting all the time! I have to choose colors that hide the flaws.
