Default My basement hallway.

Our basement hallway was painted in two colors, the top half of the walls were a medium blue, while the bottom half was a dark gray. Needless to say, after a while, it became boring, not to mention how dark that area was even with the light on.

I painted it a color called Treasure Island, which is a light yellow. I did all the trim in white, and wow, the difference that this made. Now you can actually see to go up and down the steps without having the light on.

Not to mention how much cleaner and fresher this area now is. Its amazing what a coat or two of paint will do to spruce up an area. And its not all that expensive to do.

It cost me less than $10 to completely change the look of this area. And was well worth the effort.

It is amazing just how a nice coat of paint can completely change the look of an area or a room.

The walls in our bedroom are worn and the wall paper was partically removed. Well then everyone decided to use the walls as a message board, which of course made it look even worse.

I decided just to paint over all the writing and wow I was amazed at just how much that little bit of work made a difference.

Of course now I do need to paint the rest of the walls and remove the remaining wall paper, but that is all in good time.

I already have the paint, the brushes and everything I need to get the job done, though it will just have to wait til I get a few other projects around the house completed first.
