Most common room themes

There are several different themes you can choose for the various rooms of your home. Though the most common ones are:

1. Blue and white- this is done by adding furniture and and other items to the room which are solely the colors blue and white, along with ceramics and other blue and white decorations as well.

2. Black and gold- this is usally done with furniture which is covered in a black material and trimmed in gold. The walls of the room are usally bordered with black and white as well.

3. Floral patterns- this seems to be the most popular theme for homes. It is simply done by adding a border to the room which is of vines or flowers. Some even paint flowers onto the walls to make it look as though there are shelves holding potted plants. Of course most also add in real potted flowers around the room as well.

4. Antiques- these are another very popular theme for a home. Most homes where antiques are the theme you will find several items which are now considered to be antiques.

5.Fruits and Veggies- this is another theme that many have in their homes. Though usally in the kitchen or dining area. Again this is usally a border of fruits and vegetables, along with baskets loaded full spread about the room.

Of course each of us has our own different taste when it comes to decorating our homes. Like in my home the living room is done with the theme of wolves, as my hubby loves wolves. Now my bedroom is drastically different as it is done in scooby-doo items, as I am a collector.
What are some of the themes you have in your home? I sure would like to hear. I am planning on redoing my kitchen and other rooms of my home but I am having trouble deciding on what I want, maybe some of your themes will help me to come up what I want done. Thanks everyone.
