Default Make your own slip covers for your chairs

What a great way to dress up your Dining Room table and chairs. Whether its a fancy dinner party or a super bowl party you can design your own slip covers for any occasion. If you don't sew don't fret you can use seam tape and an iron.

Tape Measure

Measuring Instructions
First and foremost, measure the chairs you want to cover. Find the widest part of the chair back and measure the width at that point; record your measurement. Then, measure from the top of the back to the seat of the chair and record.

If your chair has arms, measure from the top of the back to the top of the arm and record that measurement. You can either make your chair cover that short length or you can leave the sides and open from the top of the arm to the chair seat to accommodate the arms. Remember each chair will be different.

I have done this along time ago for a dinner party I had for Military wives I received so many compliments on my efforts.

Default Making your own slip covers

These slip covers are very easy to make, with or without a pattern. If you don't sew, there are different types of glue made for fabric which you can use to adhere the material together. The glue is very durable, I have made curtains with it that lasted for years through lots of washing and drying. It's very nice to use when you are in a rush and don't want to drag out the sewing machine!

No-Sew Slipcovers
If you do not sew, but do own an iron, you can create a great slipcovers. Just use no-sew seam tape on your fabric. Iron with downward pressure and steam on the seams. The end result is a seam that is adhered to the wrong side of the fabric so it cannot pull apart. It will be able to withstand even the roughest treatment.
The site in the original post had this to say for non sewers. Let me know if you need more of a detailed directions.
