Wink Lattice Album for your living room

I just made a great wall hanging for my living room and thought I would share it with all of you.
I had a piece of lattice that was just sitting around, so I decided to make something out of it. The idea just hit me, and it turned out looking great.

I took the lattice and laid it out on the table and got out my hot glue gun, artifical flowers, artifical green leaves and family photos that were sitting in an album.

I took the artifical green leaves and weaved them through the edges of the lattice and glued them here and there to keep them in place.
Then I took the artifical flowers and place them here and there among the green leaves. Once I had them in place where I liked them, I glued them.

Then in the middle of the lattice I placed some of my family photos and placed them where I liked them. Then using some double sided tape and some elmers school glue, I stuck them where they looked good.

Once the pictures had dried well, I placed some more green leaves and flowers through out he center of the lattice.

This made a beautiful way of showing off those family photos that people rarely saw. The size of the lattice will depend on the size of the room you plan on putting it up in.

This was a great way for me to use up some of those old craft items I had just collecting dust and a great way to brighten up my living room.

HAPPY DECORATING EVERYONE!!!

That sounds really neat Homealone! Super idea! You almost always have a few leftover pieces of lattice where it had to be trimmed to fit so instead of throwing it away you can make something really cool out of it! I love the idea... Way to go!

Thank you. I always try to find ways to use those little left overs instead of just throwing them out. This though came out as one of my better ideas. I wish I was able to post a pic of it to show everyone just how nice it came out.
I am a serious pack rat, so I need to come up with a few more ideas for the craft items and building materials that I have. As soon as something else comes together nicely as the Lattice Album did I will post it.

This is a great idea, homealone, a new take on the boards that we used to pad and cover with material and ribbon for holding pics!! I bet it looks great and I'll just have to see if we have some pieces of lattice lying around so I can try this for myself. Thanks for sharing.

I am glad this idea has sparked intrest. I know that when mine was completed I was really surprised at how nice it came out. I love displaying photos of my family and this was a great way to do so.
