2.Find inspiration, from design-oriented magazines, books, TV shows and Web sites.

3.Inspect it,not every home improvement is cosmetic, ypou need to check for deteriorating roofs, termite infestation or outdated electrical systems can negatively impact your home's value.


4.Paint, is the most cost-effective improvements of all is a fresh coat of paint.


5.Cut energy costs, call your local utility company to find out, many energy providers offer free energy audits of their customers' home.

A coat of paint can certainly do wonders for a house, inside and out. And your right, it's one of the cheapest and yet most important things to be done. Peeling and cracked paint sure isn't pretty to look at and it won't help to get your house sold!
