Decorating is one of the last things to be done to the house before you put it onto the market and show the house. It is a very important step in the process. You want to keep your decorations impersonal and not cluttered. You only need a few things for each room.

A great place to find some really nice decor items on sale is at Family Dollar. I was just there earlier today and they have a whole section of home decor items 40% to 70% odd regular price.

I picked up a few items. I couldn't pass them up for the price.

I got three wall hangings for $1.80 each and they are really nice. I plan to use them in my living room and hallway.

Yard sales are another great place to pick up some decorations for your home. I have seen brand new candle sets that could be picked up for a dollar.

There are lots of things put out in yard sales that can be bought and repainted to match your interior schemes and you can also pick up some nice furniture and lamps for next to nothing.

Decorating doesnt have to cost you an arm or a leg if you will just take the time to shop around.
