Default Holiday decorating on the cheap.

If you can't afford to go out and buy new decorations try making what you have already new. I saw a couple of neat ideas that I would like to share with you.
Number 1 is for a christmas card holder. I usually tape mine to a doorway but this one is cool. Take a shutter you know the kind you put on the outside on either side of you windows and hang it on a wall. Slide your christmas cards into the slates. Quick and easy display case.
Take a wicker basket and use it to put presents into either as a decoration or as a way to keep them out of the way. It looks nice and its quite decorative.
You can take a glass bowl or vase and put some of your unused ornaments in it to display on a table or mantle piece. I like to string lights and garland in my kitchen.
There are many things that you have in your home that with a little thought and creativity can add to this years decorations. Don't need to spend more money just reuse and refurbish what you already have on hand.

Those are some great ideas. People need not be afraid to use items for the past, they can be refurbished and used for different purposes. The thing is, you need to be creative.

I usually do what you do with the cards. They get hung all around my doorway too lol.
