Great Craft Items

There are a few craft items that I personally believe that a home should not be with out. This is because these few items can be used in many different ways, and can make a huge impact on not only the look of your home but the feel of it as well.

The first item that I always keep on hand is material. I keep different colors, textures and sizes on hand so that I can make curtains, throw pillow and such to give any room in my home a different splash of color or accent.

The second item that I always keep on hand are artifical flowers. Different flowers and colors are a great way to make flower arrangements, wreathes, swags and so on to brighten any room.

Of course a home shoul dnever be with out a hot glue gun, glue sticks, sewing needles, sewing thread and so on. With out these items it really hard to make things for the home.LOL.

Things like glitter, tacky glue, paints, crayons, stencils and so on are just a few other things that I also always keep on hand for decorating purposes.

There are just so many different things that you can make out of simple items you have laying around your home to help in creating new decorations that its really mind boggling!

I am always digging through the clearence items at stores and collecting alot of neat little things that have really come in handy for decorating my home and of course for making gifts for friends and family.

The kids and I would always be doing some sort of crafts before I began working outside of the house. We made a lot of really cool things and had a great time doing it. I really miss having the time to do those things.

I agree that home crafts are wonderful. There are many things that you can make yourself that add to a homes appeal.

A wreath with welcome for the front door is always nice to see. Plaques are another that add some charm.

Flower arrangements can brighten a room. I like to do these for each season. Fake flowers don't die and if properly cared for look great forever.
