Grape Vines

I love trimming the grape vine. The last thing I want it to do is grow out of control. I save the clippings because they are great for weaving into a basket, creating swags with some ribbon and artifical flowers, Placing into a glass bowl with colorful glass rocks just to name a few ideas.

There are many different things that can be done with grape vines depending on how long they are. Mine usually tend to be pretty long. It seems that the grape vine really wants to take over the entire yard it seems. So I end up with enough clippings to do a good bit with if I want.

One thing that I always do while out in the yard working or even out for a walk is to look around and see if I can discover some news ways to bring nature into the house beautifully. I don't want to just put rocks on a plate or in a bowl and call it decor. Give it a try and see what kinds of things you all can come up with.
