Default Glass Vases and Bowl Fillers

Glass vases and bowls alike are great ways to decorate a room and any room. They can be filled with sand, rocks and a variety of different things to brighten or blend into a room. You can also fill them with grape vines and lights for a really beautiful center piece.

Once filled you can add in flowers for a splash of color. There are also color ful rocks that you can some times find or buy at a craft store to fill them to add to the eye appealing color your wanting.

I had made a center piece for a friend of mine of a glass bowl, grape vine and lights. It came out beautifully and she loves it. That was all I did, but if you think about it there are a bunch of different things that you can really do with glass bowls and vases.

You can even add flowers to them and dye the water with some food coloring for something different.

If your wanting to change the decor in your home, just stop to think because there are a million different things that you can do.

Another idea that I really like is to fill a clear round glass vase with potpouri and a string of white lights. The heat from the lights will cause the potpouri to give off waves of very nice aromas.

Thanks for all of your other ideas. Oh, and something else, you can also find some really nice rocks at a pet supply store that go in fish tanks to put in your bowls etc.

I did once try to frill a bowl with lights and potpouri, but to be honest I haven't yet found a potouri that I actually like. To me most of it smells horrible and usually gives me a headache, though it is a good idea because I know there are a whole lot of people who love using potpouri.

Thanks for adding that idea in because many are ging to love that one.

Speaking of vases....

My oldest daughter is dating this boy and today (Valentine's Day) he came over to our house. When he walked through the door he had one long stemmed rose for my youngest daughter and a pink gift bag full of Valentines candy. Is that sweet or what!!!!! He adores her. He bought my oldest daughter a vase full of roses, a cute teddy bear and a necklace with a heart pendant.

I thought it was really sweet of him to think of the little one too!
