Default Free carpet

If you need small amount of carpet, but money is low, check your local carpet store a lot of them have parts that has been cut off on a home or business where they laid new carpet, some places will just let you have it, so it will cost you nothing this can be a big help, then maybe you will have more money to put on another project you are working on in your home.

I needed just a small amount for my entryway, ended up with more then I needed from a local carpet store, it was brand new, just the extra after they cut it to size, so I got it for free, if I did not take it they was just going to throw it away, so why not use it, saved me money, and one less large item in our landfills.

I had a friend one time get enough carpet to do 2 large rooms this way, and it really looked nice, all for free, can not beat that.

Thats a great tip. A lot of the carpet stores offer remnants for free or at a small cost. It's a lot better than paying full price and your right, it saves from filling landfills!

I've never purchased the remnants but I do know you can get a great deal if not free.
