Default a few ways to brighten up your bedroom for free!!

these are a few things i do when i get tired of the way my room looks after being that way for too long lol.

first i rearrange! when rearranging always be careful but dont be afriad to make it different!! put you bed in the middle of the floor, whatever you think looks good. its what you say goes! another thing that brightens it up a bit is get a plant, my favorite is the pony tail plam tree its so cool looking and its an air purifier.

second i make my room remind me of me and my life. i would put up pictures of my friends and family all the ones i love. i would make my room something i would want to go in every day!

last your room needs a scent! its always extra nice walking into a room thats not all really pretty but smells wonderful. just pick out one of your favorite scents and spray it all in your room. chances are they might have inscents in your favorite scent if you like inscents.

Sometimes I like my room really bright in the daytime and like to be able to see the outdoors at nite, especially the stars.

Other times I like my bedroom a little dark in the daytime as muted light can actually make the room "seem" cooler.

Changing stand covers is another way to brighten things up a bit. I have several changes for each bedroom and the change helps give a feeling of new and different.

Throw rugs can also help "soften" a room. And by changing the colors and textures can give the room a totally different "feel".

I am one of those types of people who cannot stand to have things one way for too long. It just makes me crazy. I have to move my rooms around. When i get that urge thats when my house gets it's best cleaning too lol.

When I rearrange I like to change the bedspreads, curtains and the whole nine yards. I have several sets that I can change to when I get the urge lol. I will completely move the rooms around too. It drives my husband crazy because by the time he gets used to things I am changing them again and he can't find anything lol.

hahahaha thats so funny because thats how it is for me too. i can not stand my house looking the same for too long. i rearrange my house about once a month. it makes be feel so much better about myself and about my house because like you said thats when my house gets its best cleaning too.

ill get in a mood to where ill enjoy myself while im cleaning and i will go to town it will look like a completely different house when im done and the feeling i get when im finished and i can kick back, relax and look at how good it looks makes it worth all the hard work.
