It is possible to participate in internet auctions. Many real estate auction houses have these.

My concern is the condition of the homes. How do you know what kind of shape they are in?

It is possible to go see them of course but if they aren't in the neighborhood would you drive to see it?

Perhaps you could hire someone to do an inspection on the home. Have them take pictures or video and send it to you.

I like the internet option because I am not into crowds and get really nervous. It seems simple enough. Am I crazy? Has anyone ever purchased through an internet auction?
