Default Government auctions as seen on TV

I keep seeing those ads on TV for listings of government auctions. They claim to have listings of homes all over the country. Are they for real? I'm sure you have to pay them a fee for the list, but are they really offering all they say they are? Has anyone had any dealings with them?

I think you would come out better by reading the newspaper or going the HUD or VA website to check up on auctions. Those tv commercial are only going to charge you for information that you can obtain on your own for free.

I don't have much faith in those kind of programs. The majority of them want you to pay some fee to join. If you do the leg work and search around you could probably find the same info for free.
