Be careful of scams

The truth about $1 property is that they are really only sold by the Housing and Urban Development ,HUD, to city and county governments as well as charities. For investors and other home buyers, there is no such program that offers this very low price. So do not be victimized by those websites that say you can buy a government home at a bargain rate of $1.It is just another scam.

What you can do then is to find a foreclosure at a reasonable price which you can upgrade called a fix upper property. You can obtain a list of foreclosures from government sites or you can buy real estate at auction sites such as eBay.

So if nothing else be careful when buying a home cheaply, it just maybe a scam.

It is really sad that a person can't really do anything in this world at all anymore with out doing some checking to see if it is a scam or not!!

No wonder charities are so desperate at times, criminals take advantage of the goodness in others for their own profit. This makes charities work even harder to prove that they are legit.

I have never seen a home being sold for such a low price. I mean if someone could buy homes for $1.00 there wouldn't be an empty home in this country I don't think.

That alone would make me question it seriously. I hope that there aren't to many people who fall for these kinds of scams. Money is hard to come by enough these days without the help of thieves.

That is true there are scammers every where you have to be on the lookout at all times before you do anything at all.
