Auction Question

My other half and I are looking to help his daughter purchase a home.
We wanted to look into Auction homes, though this is something that is completely new to both of us.

How do we find out when there will be homes auctioned in our area? We want her to live fairly close to us though not right next door, she needs to be a bit independant.

There are several homes for sale in our area and we did look at a few of them, though we still want to try to find some that are being auctioned off.

We arent in the habit of reading the newpapers or searching online for this type of stuff. So any help sure would be appreciated on this matter.

We are hoping to find an auction soon, because the home she is now renting isnt the best place in the world and the landlord is very lazy and refuses to fix anything with out a fight.

We want to get her out of there as soon as possible.

The only place I can think of to find this information is to look inside the local newspaper. I am sure there are other resources out there for getting that information but this is all I know about for sure.

You can also contact a local Realtor because a lot of auctions are listed on the MLS. Let me know what town your in and I can hook you up with a good agent there.
