Default Wells Fargo preyed on poor.

BALTIMORE - Black neighborhoods in Baltimore were disproportionately affected by the subprime mortgage fallout, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday by the city, which is attempting to recoup the costs of maintaining neighborhoods wracked by foreclosures.
The lawsuit alleges Wells Fargo Bank NA engaged in a pattern of predatory lending practices in Baltimore’s poorest neighborhoods, leading to foreclosure rates nearly double the citywide average.

Default Wish I had known

I wish that I had known this before I got my auto loan. It makes me feel ashamed. I wouldn't have done business with a company like this if I had known that they did things like this.

It is a shame that things like this happen. Poor people have it hard enough as it is.

Its hard to believe what some of these so called "reputable" companies will do for a dollar.

That’s horrible; to think that a financial company would go to such lengths to prey yes I said prey on the lower income families.

Default Wells Fargo Preyed on Poor

I would not have suspected a company such as Well Fargo to go to such lengths to make a dollar... Especially to the poor.. I hope some one will be held accountable

Default

I can't say that I am surprised by it. I had hoped that this particular company wouldn't do it. They saw an easy mark and knew that they would be able to get the property back and the owners lose whatever interest that had in it.

It is a shame when these big companies cant be trusted to do the right thing. And so unfortunate for the people effected by it.
