Default Watch for these add on fees.

When applying for a loan make sure you watch for these fees. Banks are really trying to hit consumers up to make up for their losses. Its buyer beware so shop smart.

You may see a no application fee on your agreement but it may show up somewhere else. One man says that it can be when you put in the paperwork and fall under the document processing fees.

Make sure you check your credit report prior to applying for a mortgage loan. They say that you need to My Fico to see what rate you could get on a fixed rate mortgage.

Knowing all of this before you apply can save you a bundle of money. Make sure that you get a good faith estimate of costs prior to making any arrangements.

Great post. These people trying to give you loans are not your friends. They only care about your money and will do whatever neccessary to get it. Be aware of what you are getting yourself into.
