Default Seniors work off taxes

It is so sad that retirement can bring on such heartache, but it is great that some places are making provisions to help retired folks with this sort of problem.

Yes it dose make on think of the future of our retirement. This is sad to me to think there are older people out there working just to make it when they have worked all their lives to finally take a break and now this and you have to wonder if all the seniors can take advantage of this some probably cant work for what ever reason and how will they pay for their property taxes

I was thinking the same things because some elderly people are not physically able to work. This makes me think of my grandmother because she didn't really plan for her retirement. I am glad to see they are thinking of the elderly.

It is nice that they are giving them an extra option to pay them off. It would have been even nicer if they had found a way to lower their property taxes. I haven't read the article fully, but I wonder if they are considered employees and receive an actual check and w2. I hope the money goes straight to their taxes.
