Anyone here looking into buying a second home possibly for vacationing?

Not me, I am lucky to keep up with the one I have now!

I have heard though that now is a great time to hunt if you can afford it. Especially in the Florida area.

Florida seems to be a great place to retire because so many do. The weather is usually great which is one of the main reasons I am sure. Houses in Florida are on the market at a more than fair price right now.

Now might be the best time to get that vacation home of you are interested.

As a matter of fact, I read about one house that was on the market and sold for $1.3 million in 2005. It was just resold for $690,000. Thats an unbelievable drop in price!
