A flood of legal claims -- of fraud, discrimination, predatory lending and more -- has followed the sharp downturn in the real-estate market. Some borrowers are even seeking compensation for the hits to their credit ratings.

Many people have decided that after all that has occured that they are gong to sue their mortgage companies. This is probably a smart move. If the banks did make bad loans then they should be held accountable.
I wonder however if the people who are suing them will ever see any money or loan relief. It seems to me that these business's are running off with their tails between their legs and leaving us high and dry.
You can not get money from a company that has filed bankruptcy can you? I will end up being a waste of time and money unless these mortgages are redone and the credit ratings companies are made to reverse the negative reporting.
