Mortgage Default Robosigners Beware

I love this. Foreclosure Hawks better look out because a new task force is looking for you!

California and Illinois Attorney's general have teamed up together to hunt down those companies who wrongly foreclosed on homes by robo signing documents and pushing them through... many unjustly.

Harris is creating a new "mortgage fraud strike force," a state panel staffed with attorneys and investigators who will dig into "every step of the mortgage process," from origination to the sale of mortgage-backed securities, her office said.
"California homeowners have been exposed to fraud and crime at every step of the mortgage process," Harris said in a statement. "Justice demands we come to their aid, and a key step in that is to investigate robosigning and the potential for inaccurate or unjust foreclosures."

I hope they find each and everyone of them and take away their "gifts" that they were given to rubberstamp documents without reading anything. I hope the people who lost their homes unjustly are recompensated plus more.

When you consider how many people have lost their homes in the past couple of years because of this type of crap happening, it is just downright heartbreaking.

And for the people that did this to be rewarded for doing so is just downright inhumane. We are talking not just adults but children that have no where to go. Plus the burden it puts on these peoples extended families that do take in the displaced families.

My hope is that the people who have done this are arrested and their business shut down.

I also hope that these people also are reimbursed for their homes and new homes outright given to them.

In fact, the people that did this to them should be made to give the displaced people their homes, that way they would feel the total brunt of what they have caused.
