Default Housing Rebound in 2025

Hmmm not good at all. I just read that we can expect the housing market to make a full recovery.... but not til 2025!

Quote:
Terrible news for people trying to sell. Great for buyers wanting variety and low prices.

House prices have fallen further in the past five years than they did in the Great Depression – and there's no sign the free fall is about to stop.

And maybe the biggest shift is people's view toward housing. After the stock bust of 2000-2001 many Americans noticed their houses kept appreciating and started viewing real estate as a winning asset class. But the collapse of the housing bubble means that thought is mostly history, which will limit the pool of willing buyers even with prices at striking low levels.
So how long till you get your head back above water on a house bought at the top of the market? Try 2025. In after the Depression-era housing bust, Dales writes, prices took 19 years to reclaim their previous peak. If you're in the market for a greatly depressing thought, it's a good one.
Thats a long time for the housing market to be in limbo! Lets hope the statistics are wrong.

Wow, now thats some depressing news. One would think that we would be well on the way to recovery now but then when you figure the jobs arent out there, it could be even longer for recovery of the housing market if the jobs market doesnt improve.

Also the difficulty in obtaining loans is another very large problem.

Doesnt seem like anything is looking too good right now or even in the future if things dont change. And thats totally up to our government.

Wonder when they will figure out that if we dont have jobs we cant buy stuff, or houses, or for that matter even pay taxes?

I cannot imagine some of the people we have chosen to run our government flippinout. I swear most of them are a bunnch of dumbasses who only care about what can go into their own pockets. What happened to the greater good of all? That doesn't seem to exist anymore. I think the lot of them should be fired and we should start fresh!

No the housing market looks bleak along with the economy in general. As soon as we see some sort of improvement something happens to take it away. It may well be a long road ahead.

This is really bad news for all of us, without home sales it effects everything else,it even effects the job market, I do not think we can wait until then for things to get better.
