Default Freddie and Fannie doing the right thing

I read in my local paper yesterday that both of these financial institutions are stepping up and finally helping the home owners who may loose there homes, instead of forclosure, these home owners are now going to be offered the option of renting there home instead of losing it all together.

I think this is a step in the right direction in helping american home owners and the economy.

finally!

It is nice to see that they are helping but is renting the answer. I mean if they cant afford the house payment how are they to afford the rent. And if they are renting do they still get the same end result of owning their homes at the end of the process.

We all must have somewhere to live but wow what a difference in lifestyle. First you are owning the home and then someone else is and I don't think I like that idea.
