This just amazes me. The mortgage giants, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwent some major financial turmoil last year and were taken over by the government. Well guess what, the top execs of the companies were still paid millions of dollars!
I guess the chief executive officers of each company received annual pay packages of $6 million and other top execs in the companies got at least $2 million each!

The executives' pay packages were approved by both the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the regulator that oversees their operations, as well as the Treasury Department, according to the filings.

It amazes me that the companies can have been ran so carelessly and yet the top officials still rake in millions of dollars. If you ask me, that money should go into the housing market in some form!
