Default Avoiding Two Mortgages

Life happens. You may have to relocate for job purposes or just need to move into a larger home because of extending the family. Right now, it's fairly easy to find a house to buy for a great price. The hard part may be selling the one you live in now and possibly facing two mortgage payments a month.

If your house isn't selling a great way to deal with the mortgage payment is by renting it out. Lots of people are looking for rentals right now and if you can get someone to sign a two year lease that gives you lots of time to wait until the market improves and your house has a better chance of selling for the price you want.

Most people are having a hard time dealing with one mortgage payment right now. I certainly wouldn't want to deal with two of them!

Default Re: Avoiding Two Mortgages

You are so right, dealing with 2 mortgages these days is almost next to impossible.

Renting the home you just moved out of can be of real help when it comes to meeting the mortgage on that house and you can also rent that house with option to buy which gives the renters plenty of time to get a loan or whatever with which to buy the home you have just recently vacated.

Hopefully, when you do rent that home, you will be able to come up with the total mortgage payment on that home or at least come very close to the full amount. Doing so can make the difference between being able to make that mortgage payment and not being able to make it.
