Default Don't let retirement catch you off guard

this is something that scaresme to death cause the market is going down the tubes and where is it going to be safe to invest in a great retirement package

[QUOTE][Retirement is, in many ways, a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it's exciting to think about the next chapter. It’s a time we'll finally have the ability to pursue long-dormant passions, whether that means starting a new business, traveling or simply spending time with family. On the other hand, it takes a lot of preparation, particularly when it comes to figuring out where, and how, you're going to live/QUOTE]

I think people who are going to be able to retire within ages 62-65 are lucky, lol. I can't see that I will be able to retire even close to that age. Even with 401K's and whatnot, I will have to continue to work in some type of employment. So many companies are changing their pension plans when new contracts are signed, it's going to be much harder for people to retire comfortably.
