Default Carefully Read Contracts

I know that we have discussed this before, though it is something that needs to be talked about often. I say that only because people don't seem to understand what simply signing can cause.

I was reading in a magazine where a couple wanting to rent a house for themselves and children, and they wanted it so much that they didn't bother reading the contract prior to reading.

In that contract it stated that the renters were responsible for putting in a new drive way to the home. This is something that the renters could not afford and were there for evicted from the home.

I believe that they are fighting this in court, but let's face it if they would have stopped and read what they were signing this would not have happened. Not to mention that a judge is most likely going to side with the home owener in this case because the renters willingly signed the contract.
